As an Associate, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial outputs and maintaining strong client relationships within a collaborative, tech-enabled environment.
As a Senior Associate, you will handle key client accounts and play a leadership role within the team. You will be responsible for the quality and timeliness of deliverables, managing client relationships, and guiding Associates in their day-to-day work. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can balance technical accounting work, coordination, and team support.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall outputs and client relationship for assigned key accounts
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and client requirements
- Review work performed by Associates and provide guidance and support
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities of the assigned team
- Manage general ledgers using cloud accounting tools (including Odoo)
- Oversee journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Review bank reconciliations and financial reports prior to submission
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax filings in compliance with BIR and statutory agencies
- Coordinate with management on complex issues and client requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related course
- Relevant experience in accounting, audit, or outsourced finance services
- Experience supervising or reviewing staff work is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Reliable, professional, and capable of handling key client relationships
